  • Encapsulation of bioactive ingredients with antimicrobial and antioxidant action in order to integrate them into feed supplements using the innovative electrohydrodynamic method and the conventional spray drying
  • Determination of shelf life and sustainability assessment (environmental and economic) of the final product

  • Evaluation in vitro the antibacterial activity of the selected extracts against important marine bacterial pathogens
  • Assessment of the impact of the new enriched fish feed on fish performance by administering them to experimental animals at different dosed for at least 4 months

  • Evaluation of the effect of innovative feed products during commercial operation aquaculture conditions on growth, survival and parasitic load:

  • Provision of knowledge on the evaluation and the potential effects of the proposed feeds in commercial scale aquaculture
  • Evaluation of the disease resistance based on visual monitoring of both external morphology and behavioural changes
